I found these beautiful rocks on an island just off the beach in Mazatlán, Mexico.
I thought it would be fun to paint several “versions” of water all in one piece; the blue flat distant ocean, the purple and white disturbance as the water hits the rocks initially, the layer of foam and bubbles as the water gets close, and the crystal clear water that covers the rocks at my feet. How wonderful 🙂
