Backbend

I got the 2013 San Francisco Ballet season guide in the mail last night. So exciting 🙂 This pose from ‘Guide to Strange Places’ caught my eye. I think dancers are the perfect subject as they give me a chance to work on drawing figures, using watercolors, and capturing movement. But let’s be honest, I really just paint them because I think they’re beautiful 🙂
