Since finishing Fort Mason, I have been dying to learn how to better portray weathered scenes. You know, things like rust, cement, old wood, chipped paint, stains, dark alleys…the beauty that you don’t always see at first. I just finished a book on watercolor techniques and this sketch puts several of my new skils into practice. Funny how ways lead to ways.
“….the beauty that you don’t always see at first.” Ha! Like butoh dance 🙂
Can’t tell ya why, but I LOVE this one!
Your Dad thinks you are awsome; with absolutely no bias on my part… lol
