Painting this much detail is such a different task than painting larger objects. Rather than being an exercise in simplifying complexity as would be the case with painting trees or buildings, it’s an excercise in really observing by seeing the gritty texture of the bricks or the varied shares of grey on the mortar. There is always something to learn :).
